I have a hard time getting excited over many of the current movies coming out lately. I don't want another remake, reboot, or sequel.
I watch both all the time, just watched Rope and followed that by Jumping Jack Flash. I want movies that don't treat me like I'm the lowest common denominator viewer.
I grew up in NYC with amazing TV stations that played classics from the 1930s-1950s, went to the movies every week, love me some 80s comedies with Better Midler, but also have watched Inception half a dozen times and it still blows my mind.
